Maddox Batson

Maddox Batson is an American singer-songwriter and rising star known for his fresh blend of country, rock, and pop. Born on December 13, 2009, in Hermitage, Tennessee and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, Maddox discovered his passion for music after being diagnosed with Osgood-Schlatter disease, which limited his ability to play sports. He began performing with his father and gained early popularity by sharing videos of their music sessions on social media.

In 2024, Maddox released his debut single “Tears in the River,” which quickly drew national attention and led to a record deal. Since then, he has released several well-received singles, including “I Wanna Know,” “X’s,” and “I Don’t Like You Anymore.” His debut EP, First Dance, dropped in March 2025 and showcases his talent as both a vocalist and songwriter. He’s also contributed to collaborations with artists like Lana Del Rey and Quavo on the genre-bending track “Tough.”

Maddox has performed at major events such as CMA Fest and the Grand Ole Opry, and he’s set to join Lainey Wilson on her Whirlwind World Tour in the fall of 2025.
