Maddie Musselman Woepse

Maddie Musselman Woepse, a three-time Olympian, has made significant strides in the realm of water polo. She represented the United States in the Paris, Tokyo, and Rio Olympic Games, demonstrating her skills as a high-level athlete. Musselman's prowess in the sport was recognized at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where she earned the title of Woman's Water Polo MVP and was one of the top scorers with 18 goals. Additionally, she has been honored as MVP at several international tournaments, including the 2019 and 2021 FINA World League Super Finals, and the 2017 FINA World Championships.

Before her international achievements, Musselman honed her skills at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). As a four-time First-Team All-American and four-time MPSF First-Team selection, she left an indelible mark on the institution's water polo history. Musselman concluded her UCLA career as the leading scorer with a record 252 goals. Her outstanding performance continued to be recognized in subsequent years, earning her the title of Women's Total Player of the Year in both 2021 and 2022 by Total Waterpolo.

Aside from her sporting achievements, Musselman Woepse has also taken on leadership roles in philanthropic endeavors. As the President of The Patrick Woepse Foundation and co-founder of the NUT Carcinoma Alliance, she leverages her influence to advocate for NUT Carcinoma awareness and rare cancer research. Currently, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies, further expanding her capacity to make impactful contributions in the medical field.
