Maddie Font

Maddie Font (née Marlow) is a country music singer, songwriter, and guitarist recognized as one half of the duo Maddie & Tae, alongside collaborator Taylor Kerr. The pair met through a shared vocal coach in Dallas and developed a vocal chemistry that contributed to their success in the country music industry. Their debut single, "Girl in a Country Song," addressed the bro-country trend and reached the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart, marking the first debut single by a female duo to reach number one in nearly a decade. The Platinum-selling single received the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame's "I Wish I Wrote That Song" honor and established Maddie & Tae in the country music scene.

Following their initial success, the duo released the album Start Here and continued to build their presence in country music. Their second studio album, The Way It Feels, debuted at number one and included the 3x Platinum-certified single "Die from a Broken Heart." They became the first female duo with multiple number-one singles on the Country Airplay chart. Their discography expanded to include the two-volume project Through the Madness and the EP What a Woman Can Do. The album Love & Light features a 16-song collection exploring themes of freedom, faith, and self-worth.

Maddie & Tae have received multiple accolades, including 13 CMA nominations, 11 ACM nominations, and six CMT Award nominations. They won Group/Duo Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards for "Woman You Got" and were included in Forbes 30 Under 30 Music list. The duo has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, participated in the C2C: Country to Country festival at London's O2 Arena, and toured with artists such as Carrie Underwood, Dierks Bentley, and Brad Paisley.

After 15 years together, Maddie & Tae announced their professional separation, with Font preparing for a solo career. Font has described her solo music as maintaining a pop-country foundation while incorporating gospel, R&B, and soul influences.
