Léa Seydoux

Léa Seydoux is a French actress known for her work in both French cinema and international film, including Hollywood productions. Seydoux has received multiple César Award nominations, two Lumières Awards, a Palme d'Or, and a BAFTA Award nomination. She won the Trophée Chopard Award for Female Revelation of the Year at the Cannes Film Festival. Seydoux has been appointed as a Dame of the Order of Arts and Letters and as a Dame of the National Order of Merit by the French government.

Seydoux began her career in French cinema with roles in "The Last Mistress" and "On War," and earned her first César Award nomination for "The Beautiful Person." She expanded her international presence with supporting roles in "Inglourious Basterds," "Robin Hood," and "Midnight in Paris." Seydoux also appeared in "Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol" as Sabine Moreau. Her breakthrough came with Abdellatif Kechiche's "Blue Is the Warmest Colour," for which she, co-star Adèle Exarchopoulos, and director Kechiche received the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. Along with Jane Campion, Seydoux and Exarchopoulos are among the only women to have won a Palme d'Or.

Seydoux gained further international recognition for her role as Madeleine Swann in "Spectre" and "No Time to Die." She is the only actor to have appeared in both the Mission: Impossible and James Bond franchises, and the only actor to portray a Bond girl in two Bond films. Seydoux has also worked with Wes Anderson in "The Grand Budapest Hotel" and "The French Dispatch." Her filmography includes roles in dystopian drama and science fiction, such as "The Lobster," "Crimes of the Future," and "Dune: Part Two."

Her work continues to be featured at major film festivals. "The Second Act" was selected as the opening film at the Cannes Film Festival, and "The Unknown" premiered in the main competition at Cannes. She stars in one of the Cannes Competition films, "Gentle Monster," which received high praise.
