Lux Pascal

Lux Pascal is an American-born Chilean actress and transgender activist known for her work in theatre, television, and film. The youngest of four siblings, including actor Pedro Pascal, she pursued performing arts early in her career. Pascal began studying theatre in 2010 at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and later expanded her training in the United States, earning a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from the Juilliard School in May 2023.

Pascal made her stage debut in 2014 in Pablo Rotemberg’s production “La noche obstinada.” That same year, she transitioned to television with her first role as Axel Miller on the Chilean series Los 80 on Canal 13. She continued building her screen career with co-starring roles in the soap operas Juana Brava (2015) and Veinteañero a los 40.

In 2016, Pascal made her film debut in Prueba de actitud. She gained international exposure in 2017 by portraying Elijah in the third season of Narcos, appearing alongside her brother. In 2019, she appeared in several Chilean film projects, including No quiero ser tu hermano, Ella es Cristina, and The Prince.

In February 2021, Pascal publicly came out as a transgender woman and adopted her maternal surname as part of her personal and public identity. Through both her artistic work and advocacy, she continues to support transgender visibility and representation in the entertainment industry.
