Establishing his presence in the world of theatre and screen, Luke Thompson is known for his diverse roles and powerful performances. Gaining viewer recognition through his portrayal of Benedict in the Netflix period drama "Bridgerton," Thompson has demonstrated his acting prowess across various platforms. In the realm of theatre, he received acclaim for his performance as Willem in the stage adaptation of "A Little Life," which opened at the Richmond Theatre in March 2023. This role not only earned him a Laurence Olivier Award nomination in 2024, but also a WhatsOnStage Award. Furthermore, in January 2024, Thompson showcased his talent in classical theatre by starring as Berowne in the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of "Love's Labour's Lost."

While making his mark in theatre, Thompson also carved out a notable career on screen. He made his feature film debut in Christopher Nolan's 2017 World War II film "Dunkirk," paving the way for a successful career in television. From 2014 to 2016, he was part of the BBC One drama "In the Club," adding another feather to his cap.
