Loris Diran

Loris Diran is a menswear designer whose career spans high fashion, film, and performance. Influenced by New York City's glam culture and urban environment, Diran describes his aesthetic as a dialogue between sartorial and streetwear. His design philosophy emphasizes reinvention, combining rustic textures in unexpected ways, utilizing familiar forms in unfamiliar textiles, and reinterpreting traditional menswear details to create new perspectives.

Before establishing his own label, Diran worked for design houses including Versace, Claude Montana, and Chanel, where he developed his understanding of style and conceptual design. He later launched a luxury knitwear collection under Loris Diran Couture and served as design director for Jacquelyne Love, presenting collections at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Los Angeles. Diran has presented his collections at New York Fashion Week multiple times, maintaining a consistent presence in the international fashion industry.

Diran's work extends beyond the runway into film and performance. He created menswear for Stanley Tucci's character in the film "The Devil Wears Prada" and designed costumes for fantasy sequences in the film "Daughter of God." He also designed costumes for the Philadelphia Ballet's Ballet X. His designs have been worn by celebrities such as Beyoncé, Ne-Yo, Ricky Martin, and Kim Kardashian.

Diran's international profile includes debuting his collection on the runways of Milan as a guest of Vogue Italia and Milano Unica, and receiving the Fashion Group International Rising Star Award for Best Menswear Designer. He was also a finalist for the same award in the womenswear category and debuted during Hong Kong Fashion Week as the first U.S. designer to do so.

Diran divides his time between the U.S. and Asia, serving as creative director for menswear brand Lilanz in China and as an independent consultant for global brands. His brand has achieved annual revenues exceeding $70 million. Sartoria Studio, a downtown New York City men's outfitter, became the first U.S. retailer to carry his exclusive accessory collection. With experience in fashion design, creative direction, and costume design, Diran brings industry expertise and a global perspective to his work.
