Lorde is a New Zealand singer-songwriter who rose to fame with her EP, "The Love Club," featuring the worldwide hit single "Royals." This song topped various charts and sold 10 million units globally. Her debut album "Pure Heroine" was released in 2013 to critical and commercial acclaim, and by February 2014, it had sold over one million copies in the United States alone. Lorde's musical contributions extend beyond her solo work; she curated the soundtrack for the 2014 film "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1."
Lorde's second album, "Melodrama," was released in 2017 and received critical acclaim, debuting at the top of the US Billboard 200.
