London Fletcher

London Fletcher is a former professional football linebacker renowned for his remarkable durability and leadership on the field. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Fletcher attended Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School before briefly playing college basketball at Saint Francis University of Pennsylvania. He later transferred to John Carroll University in Ohio, where he excelled in both football and basketball, earning Division III National Linebacker of the Year honors in 1997.

Despite going undrafted in the 1998 National Football League (NFL) Draft, Fletcher signed with the St. Louis Rams, where he played four seasons and won Super Bowl XXXIV. He then spent five seasons with the Buffalo Bills before joining the Washington Redskins (now Washington Commanders) for his final seven seasons. Over his 16-year career, Fletcher started 215 consecutive games—the most by a linebacker in NFL history—and amassed 2,032 total tackles, 39 sacks, 23 interceptions, and 20 forced fumbles.

Fletcher was selected to four Pro Bowls (2009–2012), named second-team All-Pro twice, and led the NFL in combined tackles in 2011. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2019 and became a member of Washington's Ring of Fame in 2022. Following his retirement, Fletcher transitioned to broadcasting, serving as a color commentator for the Washington Commanders' radio broadcasts .
