Logan Shroyer

Logan Shroyer is an actor and producer recognized for his portrayal of teenage Kevin Pearson on the NBC drama series "This Is Us." With a family background in the entertainment industry—his father worked as a prop master and art director, and his mother as a music coordinator—Shroyer began acting at age 12, initially taking classes before developing a passion for the craft. He started his career as a child actor, appearing in guest roles on television series such as "Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street," "The Thundermans," and "Speechless," as well as in commercials and short projects. Shroyer further developed his skills through workshop classes at the Groundlings and by studying Tae Kwon Do.

Shroyer's breakthrough came with his recurring role as teenage Kevin Pearson in "This Is Us," where he appeared in 92 episodes and depicted Kevin at various ages. He joined an ensemble cast that included Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown, and Justin Hartley. Shroyer collaborated closely with Hartley to ensure continuity in the character's portrayal. The series received critical acclaim and multiple Emmy Awards. Shroyer and the ensemble cast earned the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for two consecutive years.

In addition to "This Is Us," Shroyer played John Boy Walton in "The Waltons: Homecoming," a made-for-TV movie on The CW that served as a remake of "The Homecoming: A Christmas Story." He reprised the role in the sequel, "A Waltons Thanksgiving." Shroyer is also known for his work on the Prime Video series "Elle," part of the "Legally Blonde" prequel franchise.

Shroyer has experience behind the camera, having written, directed, and produced his own projects, and worked in cinematography and editing. His time on "This Is Us" provided opportunities to learn about camera work from director Ken Olin. As a director, Shroyer has helmed projects including "The Relic" and the short "Look What You Made Me Do." He also plays guitar and performed as the lead guitarist in the alternative rock band Liquid Glass, which he formed while taking lessons at School of Rock South Bay. Shroyer has established a diverse body of work across television and film, with a growing presence both in front of and behind the camera.
