Liza Treyger

Liza Treyger is a Ukrainian-American stand-up comedian, actress, and podcast host known for her conversational style and presence in the comedy industry. Born in Odessa and raised in Chicago, Treyger began her comedy career after performing at an open-mic event while attending North Park University. She became a notable figure in the Chicago comedy scene, serving as creator and co-producer of the weekly showcase "Riot Comedy," before relocating to New York.

Treyger made her television debut on NBC's "Last Comic Standing" and has appeared on "Late Night with Seth Meyers," "Lights Out with David Spade," "Pause with Sam Jay," "@Midnight," "Adam Devine's House Party," and "Chelsea Lately." Her stand-up work includes "Glittercheese," a half-hour special for Comedy Central, and a half-hour for Netflix's stand-up collection "The Degenerates."

Her hour-long stand-up special, "Night Owl," is available on Netflix and explores topics such as immigrant family experiences and the influence of technology. The New York Times included "Night Owl" in its "5 Smart and Silly Specials" feature, highlighting Treyger's distinctive comedic voice.

In addition to stand-up, Treyger has acted in Netflix's "Survival of the Thickest," "Nope," and "The King of Staten Island." She co-hosts "That's Messed Up: An SVU Podcast" on Exactly Right Media, which examines episodes of "Law & Order: SVU" and the true crimes that inspired them. Treyger regularly performs at the Comedy Cellar in New York and The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, and has appeared at comedy festivals and venues internationally, including in Melbourne, Sydney, Athens, Antwerp, Oslo, London, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dublin, Amsterdam, and across Canada.
