Liz Landers Biography
Liz Landers began her journalistic career as a correspondent covering Bernie Sanders' 2016 presidential campaign for CNN. Her tenacity and aptitude for political journalism led her to serve as the White House Producer for CNN from January 2017, where she covered White House and Capitol Hill affairs. In April 2019, she broadened her professional horizons by joining Vice News as a guest anchor and political correspondent on the show "Vice News Tonight."
Landers' work was recognized when she was promoted to chief political correspondent at Vice News in March 2021. As part of her role, she covered the 2022 midterm election campaign, with a focus on Trump-endorsed candidates who denied the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election. She received an Emmy Award in 2021 for Outstanding Newscast for "Vice News Tonight." Her tenure at Vice came to an end in April 2023 due to layoffs.
Despite the setback at Vice, Landers' career took an upward turn in August 2025 when she was named White House Correspondent for "PBS News Hour." Not only that, but her contributions to PBS' "Frontline" also played a significant role in the program winning News Emmys in 2021.
