Lisa-Jo Baker

Lisa-Jo Baker is the co-host of the Out of the Ordinary Podcast and author of Never Unfriended (a Publishers Weekly and ECPA bestseller) and Surprised by Motherhood, as well as the Bible Study, We Saved You a Seat and its companion study for Teen Girls.

Her newest book, The Middle Matters, invites women to embrace their middle stage of life, beyond what the media, the mirror, or the magazines say. Through gutsy, beautiful storytelling, she admits out loud what most of us are thinking about marriage, parenting, the bathroom scale, and how badly we all want to buy those matching Magnolia Market mugs.

In the last decade, Baker has become a voice for those longing for connection over perfection, honest questions over trite answers, and a big sister instead of a critic.
