Lisa Smith-Strother Biography
LISA SMITH-STROTHER has been the senior director and global head of employer branding and diversity talent acquisition across Ericsson’s social and digital careers channels for over two years. With over 15 years of marketing experience in the financial service industry, she’s held roles with increasing responsibility at American Express, NatWest Bank, M & T Bank and Bancorp Bank as a VP and strategic marketing head. Smith-Strother successfully transferred her marketing skill set to the HR employer branding arena for the pharma industry at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, where she led and delivered employer branding strategies, social and digital media, candidate attraction and onboarding solutions for seven years. She enjoys using her marketing skill set in the exciting ICT industry. She is a Universum advisory board and direct marketing association member. Earlier this year Smith-Strother received her World Class Employer Branding certification and placed on the Black Enterprise Top Exec in Corporate Diversity list. She also received the YMCA Adult Achiever award and is the recipient of the Trailblazer award from the National Association of Business Women. She is a graduate of Springfield College, and has a Masters from the graduate School of Retail Bank Marketing and M.B.A. from Temple University.
