Lisa S. Stump

Lisa S. Stump is a leader in healthcare technology, serving as the chief digital information officer of the Mount Sinai Health System and dean for information technology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. In these roles, Stump oversees the enterprise digital and data ecosystem, manages innovation initiatives, and ensures the integration of advanced technologies across clinical, educational, and research domains. Her responsibilities include core IT and digital functions, cybersecurity, data privacy and governance, application portfolio management, data democratization, digital experience, analytics, and the strategic deployment of artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives.

Before joining Mount Sinai, Stump held senior executive roles at Yale New Haven Health and Yale Medicine. She led efforts to consolidate electronic medical record systems, directed enterprise resource planning initiatives, and launched telehealth and digital innovation partnerships. During her tenure at Yale, Stump served as director of pharmacy, administrative director in clinical informatics, and vice president of the Epic Project, demonstrating expertise in both clinical and digital transformation. Stump is a fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and was the inaugural chair of the ASHP Section of Digital and Telehealth Providers, reflecting her national experience in digital health leadership.
