Linda Maloney

Linda Maloney is a retired U.S. Navy officer, award‑winning author, veteran advocate, keynote speaker, entrepreneur, and technology executive. She served 20 years as a Naval Flight Officer, becoming one of the first women in U.S. history to join a combat military flying squadron and earning numerous honors, including the Distinguished Air Medal for combat missions over the Arabian Gulf. She was also the first woman to eject from a Martin‑Baker ejection seat from her A‑6 aircraft over the Atlantic Ocean.

After retiring from the Navy in 2004, Maloney transitioned to leadership roles in defense contracting, business ownership, and authorship. She is the founder and former CEO of Veteran Women Speakers, the first speakers agency devoted exclusively to connecting exceptional women military veterans with paid engagements. She is also the creator of Proudly She Served, a multi-platform initiative highlighting women veterans’ service and sacrifices. Her award-winning book Military Fly Moms: Sharing Memories, Building Legacies, Inspiring Hope features the stories of 70 women military aviators balancing service and motherhood.

In the corporate sector, Maloney serves as a Senior Manager at Verizon (Lake Mary, Florida), where since 2018 she has led the Business Systems Artificial Intelligence, Information, Data & Analytics Program for Verizon’s Sourcing and Supply Chain organizations. In this role, she manages large-scale system projects, from planning and development to testing and implementation, and provides executive briefings while applying both Agile and traditional project management principles.

Maloney’s work spans leadership, legacy, technology, and veteran advocacy, focusing on elevating women veterans’ voices and improving organizational performance across military, nonprofit, and corporate sectors.
