Lexi Minetree

Lexi Minetree is an actress recognized for her leading role as Elle Woods in Prime Video's "Elle," a television prequel to "Legally Blonde." The series follows the character's journey through high school and features June Diane Raphael among its cast. Minetree was selected for the role after submitting an audition tape inspired by Elle Woods' Harvard admission essay, a process overseen by director Jason Moore and with involvement from Reese Witherspoon, who originated the character in film and provided guidance during production.

Prior to her role in "Elle," Minetree appeared in projects such as "Law & Order: SVU" and television films including "The Murdaugh Murders," "Crowdsource Murder," and "The Paramedic Who Stalked Me." Her film work includes a role as Regina in the horror-thriller "All Alone Together," directed by Maximus Jenkins, and participation in Osgood Perkins' ensemble horror film "The Young People."

Minetree holds a double major in theatre and public relations from the University of Southern California and trained at the British American Drama Academy in London. Her stage credits include roles in "Noises Off," "No Exit," and "The Cover of Life," for which she received the Best Actress Award at the Fall One Act Competition in Georgia. She also founded, produced, and directed the first B.A. Senior Showcase at USC, supporting graduating theatre majors entering the entertainment industry.
