Levity

Levity is a Chicago-based electronic music trio composed of John Hauldren, Josh Tarum, and PJ Carberry. The group is recognized for advancing the dubstep genre while integrating elements from bass music and broader cultural influences. Specializing in a blend of dubstep, trap, and future bass, Levity is known for dynamic live performances characterized by hip-hop-inspired drum patterns and melodically rich drops, distinguishing both their recorded music and stage presence within the electronic music industry.

Levity's rise began with a collaboration with Dem Jointz on the track "Flip It," followed by a breakout performance at Electric Forest festival after a last-minute lineup change. The group has been featured in EDM.com Class of 2024 and has developed a catalog that includes tracks such as "Flip It," "One For You," "Postman," and "Front to Back." These releases have contributed to their growing influence in the bass music scene. Their EP, "Escapism, Vol. 1," further established their presence in electronic music.

The trio has delivered notable performances at major festivals, including Coachella, where their Sahara set featured high-impact production and a guest appearance from Big Sean. At Lollapalooza, their set included appearances from Chance the Rapper and Cage the Elephant, highlighting their crossover appeal. Levity's LASERSHIP Tour included sold-out shows at venues such as The Shrine, Brooklyn Paramount, Mission Ballroom, and a 10,000-capacity headline at Wintrust Arena. They have performed at festivals including Electric Forest, EDC Las Vegas, North Coast, and Summer Camp.

Levity has accumulated over 100 million streams, more than 1 million monthly Spotify listeners, 150,000 Spotify followers, and a combined social media audience exceeding 450,000 across Instagram and TikTok. The group has announced a debut headline performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, launching a new live concept, Levi-Rocks Year 1: The Volcano. Levity is also scheduled for a summer amphitheater tour with Tape B. With a sound rooted in dubstep and cultural crossover, Levity continues to shape the evolution of electronic music with high-energy, immersive experiences designed for audiences seeking more than a traditional DJ set.
