Leeland

Leeland is a Christian rock band from Baytown, Texas, formed by lead singer Leeland Mooring, who began writing songs prior to the band's inception. The group consists of Leeland Mooring, who provides lead vocals and guitar, and Casey Moore, who plays guitar and provides background vocals.

Leeland's musical style blends alternative contemporary Christian music (CCM) and progressive rock, featuring melodic compositions influenced by Brit-pop and rock. The band has drawn comparisons to acts such as Coldplay, Keane, and U2. The debut album, "Sound of Melodies," received a Grammy Award nomination and two Dove Award nominations. The third album, "Love Is on the Move," further established the band's presence in the Christian music industry.

The fourth studio album, "The Great Awakening," was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album. Following a hiatus, Leeland released the fifth studio album, "Invisible," through Bethel Music.
