Leanna Crawford

Leanna Crawford is a singer-songwriter recognized in contemporary Christian music for her storytelling and faith-centered songwriting. Crawford's interest in music ministry began after a mission trip, where she felt called to reach and support young women through her music. She gained early recognition by winning Praise106.5's Music Search with her song "Moment by Moment," produced by Dove Award-winning producer Ed Cash. After earning a music business degree from Northwest University, Crawford relocated to Nashville to pursue her career in Christian music.

Crawford became the first female artist signed to Story House Collective by Grammy-nominated artist and Dove Award winner Matthew West. Her debut EP, "Crazy Beautiful You," marked the beginning of a series of releases and national tours. She has performed alongside artists including Michael W. Smith, Matthew West, Jeremy Camp, and Matt Maher, and joined the Provident Label Group roster, releasing a self-titled second EP featuring the Billboard Christian Airplay-charting single "Truth I'm Standing On."

Crawford's songwriting addresses real-life experiences, resonating with audiences through songs such as "Mean Girls," a duet with gospel singer Jekalyn Carr that reached No. 29 on the Christian Airplay chart. She was nominated as Female Artist of the Year at the K-Love Fan Awards, reflecting her growing presence in the Christian music industry.

Her debut studio album, "Still Waters," released on Provident Label Group, combined previous singles with new material inspired by Psalm 23. The album reached No. 7 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums chart, and its lead single, "Still Waters (Psalm 23)," became Crawford's first No. 1 on the Billboard Christian Airplay chart. The song was written in honor of her great aunt Maurine, whose influence shaped Crawford's approach to faith and music.

Crawford received the New Artist of the Year Award at the GMA Dove Awards, and was nominated in multiple categories, including Song of the Year and Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for "Still Waters (Psalm 23)," and Christmas Recorded Song of the Year for "We Sing Joy to the World" with Seph Schlueter. She also earned a K-LOVE Fan Award for Breakout Single of the Year. Crawford has toured with Ben Fuller, We The Kingdom, and Zach Williams, and has headlined her own "Still Waters Tour." Her work continues to contribute to the contemporary Christian music landscape, emphasizing themes of faith, identity, and personal growth.
