Lauren McKeon Biography
Lauren McKeon is currently the executive editor of non-fiction at HarperCollins Canada. Prior to joining the team at HCC, she was deputy editor of Toronto Life magazine and previously deputy editor of Reader’s Digest Canada. She has also worked as the digital editor of The Walrus and as the editor of Canada's progressive, independent This Magazine. Lauren is also an award-winning journalist and writer. Her feature writing has appeared in Toronto Life, Maclean’s, Reader’s Digest, Chatelaine, Hazlitt, The Walrus, and more. Her writing often examines the world (and herself) through a not-so-rosy feminist lens.
She is the author of three non-fiction works: "Women of The Pandemic: Stories from the Front Lines of COVID-19"; "No More Nice Girls: Gender, Power, and Why It’s Time to Stop Playing By the Rules"; and "F-Bomb: Dispatches from the War on Feminism." Her work has appeared in several anthologies, including "Best Canadian Essays" and "Whatever Gets You Through." Her next book, a memoir, is forthcoming with McClelland & Stewart.
