Lauren Dunford is the co-founder and CEO of Guidewheel, where she leads the charge of empowering ten million factories globally to reach sustainable peak performance. Guidewheel’s AI-driven FactoryOps platform helps manufacturers unlock productivity gains, improving productivity by 20%+ and energy efficiency by 10-15% within months. Dunford founded Guidewheel while studying at Stanford University and has since expanded the company’s operations globally. Backed by top investors like Greycroft and Breakthrough Energy Ventures, her leadership is driving transformative change in manufacturing.
Dunford was inspired to start Guidewheel by experiences with climate change and manufacturing, including a Fulbright Scholarship focused on supply chain and work at the Hewlett Foundation, Environmental Defense Fund and Revolution Foods. She has lived and worked in India, Kenya, Nicaragua and Mexico, holds a BA and MBA from Stanford and is a Udall Scholar and a Truman Scholar.
