Laura Zabel is executive director of Springboard for the Arts, an economic development organization for artists in the upper Midwest and beyond. One of Springboard’s newest initiatives is Community Supported Art, which connects artists directly with patrons through a three-month farm-share program, and has been replicated in over 30 communities nationwide. In 2010, Zabel was named one of Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal’s 40 Under Forty, which honors business and civic leaders.
