Lana Parrilla Biography
Lana Parrilla is an actress who, early in her career, appeared in television series such as "Spin City," "Boomtown" (for which she earned an Imagen Award), "24," "Swingtown," and "Miami Medical." Her breakout came in 2011 as Regina Mills, aka the Evil Queen, on ABC’s "Once Upon a Time," a role that earned her widespread acclaim—including an ALMA Award and Teen Choice Award.
Since then, Parrilla has continued to take on compelling roles: Rita Castillo in season two of "Why Women Kill"; Lisa Trammell in "The Lincoln Lawyer"; and most recently Val Shepherd in the Netflix sci-fi action film "Atlas" alongside Jennifer Lopez and Simu Liu. In 2025, she appeared in "The Rainmaker" as Jocelyn "Bruiser" Stone.
Beyond acting, Parrilla explores creative avenues like her clothing line,*Keep It Regal, inspired by her "Once Upon a Time" persona.
