Kyle Larson

Kyle Larson is recognized as one of the most versatile drivers in American motorsport, with more than 250 career victories across stock cars, sprint cars, dirt late models, sports cars, and karts. Larson began racing at age 7 and gained national attention after winning the 4-Crown Nationals at Eldora Speedway, where he became only the second driver in history to win in all three types of USAC cars in a single night.

Larson earned the NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Rookie of the Year honors, marking his arrival on NASCAR’s premier stage. During his tenure at Chip Ganassi Racing, Larson recorded six Cup wins, 56 top-five finishes, and over 100 top-10 finishes before joining Hendrick Motorsports.

Driving the No. 5 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports, Larson set a record for laps led in a season since NASCAR adopted a 36-race schedule, with 2,581 laps led, and achieved a career-high 10 victories. He secured his first NASCAR Cup Series championship after winning the Championship 4 at Phoenix, becoming the first driver since Jimmie Johnson to win 10 races and a championship in the same season. Larson later added a second Cup Series title, contributing to Hendrick Motorsports’ 15th championship and joining an exclusive group of drivers with multiple Cup Series crowns.

Larson’s achievements extend beyond NASCAR. He has won the NASCAR All-Star Race multiple times and claimed victories in marquee events such as the Coca-Cola 600, Southern 500, and Brickyard 400. Larson also triumphed at the Chili Bowl Nationals and the Knoxville Nationals, the premier 410 sprint car race. He was named one of NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers, reflecting his impact on the sport. Larson has signed a long-term extension with Hendrick Motorsports, reinforcing his commitment to the organization.

In addition to his NASCAR career, Larson has competed in the Indianapolis 500, attempting the 1,100-mile "Double" by racing both the IndyCar event and the NASCAR Cup Series race on the same day. He is the subject of the Prime Video documentary "Kyle Larson vs. The Double," which details that feat. He launched the High Limit Racing Sprint Car Series, expanding his influence in dirt track racing. Off the track, Larson supports youth racing and community initiatives through the Kyle Larson Foundation, the Urban Youth Racing School, the Sanneh Foundation, and the Drive for 5 program.

With multiple championships, more than 30 Cup Series wins, and a broad presence across motorsport disciplines, Larson is regarded as a leading figure in American auto racing.
