Kriti Sharma

Kriti Sharma is an artificial intelligence technologist, business executive, and humanitarian focused on the ethical and equitable development of AI. Sharma built her first robot at age 15 and has since worked on AI technologies addressing global challenges, including productivity, inequality, and domestic abuse. She has led product and AI divisions at multinational corporations such as Thomson Reuters, Sage Group, and Barclays, contributing to advancements in applied AI, algorithmic bias, and technology-driven change.

As vice president of artificial intelligence at Sage Group, Sharma led the creation of "Pegg," an accounting bot that changed how enterprises manage finances. She later served as chief product officer for LegalTech at Thomson Reuters, overseeing major AI transformations. Sharma was appointed CEO of IFS Nexus Black, where she leads the design and delivery of domain-specific, agentic AI for industries such as manufacturing, energy, aerospace, and construction.

Outside the corporate sector, Sharma founded AI for Good, an organization dedicated to humanitarian technology initiatives. Through AI for Good, she launched "rAInbow," a digital companion supporting women facing domestic violence in South Africa, and collaborated with the Population Foundation of India to introduce "Dr. Sneha," an AI-powered digital character addressing sexual health education. Sharma has led chatbot projects for social causes in more than 25 countries.

Sharma's work has been recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30, the UK Prime Minister's Points of Light award, and the United Nations, where she was named a Young Leader for contributions to ethical and inclusive AI. She serves as an adviser to the UN Technology Innovation Labs and was invited as a civic leader to the Obama Foundation Summit for her work in ethical technology. Sharma is a Google Anita Borg Scholar and has provided expert testimony on AI policy to the UK Parliament in the House of Lords.
