Kristy Woodson Harvey is a New York Times, USA TODAY, and Publishers Weekly bestselling author of 14 novels, including "Summer State of Mind," "Beach House Rules," and the "Peachtree Bluff" series. Harvey is a Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Journalism and holds a master's in English with a concentration in multicultural and transnational literature. Her work in contemporary Southern fiction has appeared in Southern Living, Traditional Home, USA TODAY, Domino, and O. Henry, among other publications.
