Kristina Halvorson

Kristina Halvorson is recognized as a leading authority on content strategy, a discipline she helped define and bring to mainstream prominence. Halvorson founded Brain Traffic, a content strategy consultancy, which transitioned to offering content strategy as a service. Beginning her career as a web copywriter, she identified the need for earlier involvement in digital projects, which led her to the emerging field of content strategy.

Halvorson authored the book "Content Strategy for the Web" after receiving positive feedback on her article "The Discipline of Content Strategy" for A List Apart. Co-authored with Melissa Rach, the book's second edition remains a frequently cited resource in the content strategy field.
