Kristin Hannah

Kristin Hannah is an author of more than 20 novels, including the international bestseller "The Nightingale." The novel was recognized as Goodreads Best Historical Fiction Novel and received the People’s Choice Award for best fiction. It was also selected by the Reese Witherspoon Book Club and named a Best Book of the Year by Amazon, iTunes, Buzzfeed, Wall Street Journal, Paste, and The Week. Hannah was included on the Forbes 50 Over 50 list.

After two decades as a stay-at-home mother and writing contemporary novels, Hannah drew inspiration from the true stories of women in the French Resistance during World War II. This research formed the foundation for "The Nightingale," her first historical fiction novel. The book appeared on the New York Times Best Seller list for 86 weeks and has been adapted as a feature film starring Dakota and Elle Fanning.

"The Four Winds" debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, and Indie bookstore bestseller lists. Hannah's earlier novel, "Firefly Lane," was adapted for television and released on Netflix.
