Krista Neher

Krista Neher is a six-time bestselling author, global keynote speaker, entrepreneur, and CEO of Boot Camp Digital. Neher has been involved in digital marketing since its early days, developing online strategies before the term "digital marketing" became widely used. She managed one of the first corporate Twitter accounts and has focused her career on helping organizations adapt to the evolving digital landscape.

Neher began her career at Procter & Gamble after graduating with honors from Wilfrid Laurier University. She worked on brands including laundry detergent, coffee, and Pur Water. While at Procter & Gamble, Neher also worked part-time for an internet startup, later becoming vice president of marketing at Photrade. This entrepreneurial experience led her to establish Boot Camp Digital, a company focused on digital marketing training and strategy for businesses and professionals.

With more than 20 years of experience, Neher has trained hundreds of thousands of marketers and advised brands such as Meta, Google, Nike, Procter & Gamble, NASA, GE, and the U.S. Senate. She is the author of six books on social media and digital marketing, including "Social Media Field Guide," "Visual Social Media Marketing," "Social Media Marketing: A Strategic Approach," "Digital Marketing That Actually Works," and "Launch Yourself!" Her work includes the first textbook and a Dummies guide on social media, as well as the launch of the world's first accredited social media certification.

Neher is a frequent speaker at industry events in North America, Asia, Europe, Africa, and South America, including SXSW, The New York Times Small Business Summit, ClickZ, Search Engine Strategies, and AdTech. Her experience has been recognized with awards for entrepreneurship and leadership, including 40 Under 40.

Neher serves as an advisor to social media and technology startups and has been a board member for organizations such as SXSW, the BBB, and several nonprofits.
