Klon Kitchen

Klon Kitchen is a national security and technology policy expert with experience at the intersection of defense innovation and geopolitical risk. As managing director and global technology policy practice lead at Beacon Global Strategies, Kitchen advises Fortune 100 companies and government leaders on technological and security challenges. He also serves as a non-resident senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, contributing to public discourse on cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and emerging defense technologies through research, congressional testimony, and media appearances.

Kitchen’s career includes more than two decades of experience, with over 15 years as an intelligence officer and deployments to multiple combat zones. He has held roles such as national security advisor to Senator Ben Sasse, contributing to the creation of the U.S. Cyberspace Solarium Commission, and director of the National Security and International Trade and Finance Subcommittee in the U.S. Senate. His service has been recognized with honors including the Civilian Combat Support Medal and commendations from senior military leadership.
