Kirk Fogg Biography
After Kirk graduated from Cal State University Fullerton with a B.A in Communications and a minor in Theatre, he quickly realized that acting was the life for him. After a wild journey through Europe, he landed in New York and began studying with the famed acting teacher, Uta Hagen.
After several off-broadway plays and as many national commercials, he moved to Los Angeles where he continued to work commercially. In addition, he began writing screenplays. In 1992 he won the Steven Spielberg, Amblin Chesterfield Writing Fellowship. He and nine others (including Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Auburn) continued writing at Universal Studios through the next year.
In 1993 Kirk was cast as the host of Nickelodeon's "Legends of the Hidden Temple." He hosted 120 episodes for the hit show and garnered a Cable Ace Award for "Best Game Show". Since Legends, Kirk has continued to do commercials (over 300) and in 2006 produced and directed his first feature film, "Distortion" which has been distributed worldwide through Maverick Entertainment. Kirk has a wife and two kids and resides in Los Angeles.
