McCreight graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and worked as a litigation associate at major New York City law firms before transitioning to a full-time writing career. Her short fiction has appeared in publications such as Antietam Review and Oxford Magazine.
McCreight is the author of eight novels, including "Reconstructing Amelia," which was nominated for the Edgar, Anthony, and Alex Awards and was named Entertainment Weekly's Favorite Book of the Year.
