Kim Stagliano

Kim Stagliano is a nationally recognized autism advocate, author, and speaker known for her work in autism awareness and advocacy. Stagliano is the mother of three daughters with autism, a circumstance that has brought her and her family significant media attention. A former sales and marketing executive and graduate of Boston College, Stagliano has leveraged her professional experience and personal journey into a career as a writer, editor, and public speaker focused on autism spectrum disorder, special education, and disability advocacy.

Stagliano is the author of two books. Her memoir, "All I Can Handle: I'm No Mother Teresa: A Life Raising Three Daughters with Autism," explores the challenges and realities of raising children with autism. Her novel, "House of Cards," is a mystery that incorporates themes of parenting and autism. Through these works, Stagliano addresses the complexities of raising children with autism, combining candor and humor to reach a broad audience.

Stagliano serves as managing editor of Age of Autism, the first daily web newspaper dedicated to autism news and issues. In this role, she oversees daily content, technical operations, advertising, organization, and layout, and leads a team responsible for comment moderation. She also operates the nonprofit AutismAge, which publishes Age of Autism. Stagliano’s writing has appeared in outlets such as Huffington Post, Dallas Morning News Moms Blog, and The Autism File, contributing to public discourse on autism, neurodiversity, and disability rights.

Stagliano is a frequent speaker at national autism conferences and has appeared on Good Morning America, ABC News, Fox News, as well as in Chicago Tribune and National Catholic Register.
