Kiki Finley

Kiki Finley is a music executive, publisher, and entrepreneur who has established a unique presence in the entertainment industry. She is recognized as the first Black female founder of a film, gaming, and virtual reality scoring orchestra in the United States, contributing to the evolution of music production for modern media. Finley began her career as a professional performer, touring the United States, Alaska, and Canada, and later became an award-winning equity actress with appearances in productions such as "Swan Lake," "West Side Story," "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf," "The Wiz," and "The Color of Justice." She has performed at venues including The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., The Promenade Theatre in New York, and The Fox Theatre in Atlanta.

Finley transitioned to film, earning roles in "Road Trip," "Boycott," "Remember the Titans," and "Drumline." Leveraging her background in performance and storytelling, she moved into the business side of music as CEO of Point Blank Management, a sync licensing management and publishing company based in Los Angeles. As Principal Music Publisher at Point Blank Management, she manages catalogs for award-winning female film composers and oversees soundtrack publishing. With an academic background in philosophy of law, with a pre-law concentration in music and sports from Arizona State University, Finley applies her expertise to create impactful experiences in music licensing and publishing.

Finley is the founder of Point Blank Management, a boutique music publishing and composer agency representing female composers and immersive sound designers, with a focus on amplifying underrepresented voices in film, television, games, and immersive media. She also founded LA Soundscape Orchestra, a 50-piece recording ensemble dedicated to supporting underrepresented composers in large-scale scoring environments, specializing in cinematic recordings for film, episodic television, video games, and AI-driven storytelling. The LA Soundscape Orchestra collaborates with diverse voices in the industry, ensuring authentic and emotionally resonant compositions.

Finley is a public speaker and a member of the Recording Academy Los Angeles Chapter, the Guild of Music Supervisors, Women in Film, and Women in Music. As a keynote speaker, she addresses topics such as independent artistry in the music industry, personal storytelling through music, and cultural diversity in sync licensing. Finley advocates for ownership and self-determination in a male-dominated industry, encouraging talent to forge their own paths. She has spoken about overcoming challenges, including being underestimated and often the only person of her background in professional settings, and emphasizes the importance of perseverance, intuition, and advocacy for underrepresented voices in music and entertainment.
