Kevin Willard is a seasoned figure in the world of college basketball, currently holding the position of men's head basketball coach at Villanova University. His coaching career, which boasts an overall record of 353-254, began under the tutelage of Rick Pitino with the Boston Celtics. Following his initiation into the profession, Willard transitioned into college basketball where he has left an indelible mark. Notably, between 2010 and 2022, Willard served as the head coach for the Seton Hall Pirates men's basketball team, during which time he led the team to four consecutive 20-win seasons from 2016 to 2019.
In addition to his commendable win-loss ratio, Willard's coaching prowess has been recognized on multiple occasions. In 2010, during his tenure at Seton Hall, he was awarded the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Coach of the Year.
