Kevin Reilly

Kevin Reilly, a seasoned executive in the television industry, has held key roles at major networks including HBO Max, TNT, TBS, truTV, FX, NBC, and Fox. Reilly's tenure at these networks has seen the birth and success of several popular TV shows that have left indelible marks in the entertainment landscape. These include "The Sopranos," "Empire," "The Office," "30 Rock," "Friday Night Lights," "The Shield," "ER," "Law & Order," and "Glee." Notably, under his leadership, FX transformed into a powerhouse with shows like "The Shield," which won a Golden Globe for Best Drama Series. In 2025, he became the CEO of the AI firm Kartel, which develops systems for Fortune 500 brands, agencies, and studios.

Reilly has often been a catalyst for innovation in his roles. At Fox, he introduced a "no pilot season" strategy, opting to nurture fewer new shows with a more significant investment. He also championed digital and social media initiatives, including the creation of the Animation Domination High-Def digital animation subsidiary. His forward-thinking strategies contributed to Fox's seven-year run as the top-rated network for adults aged 18 to 49. Transitioning to TNT and TBS, Reilly continued to push boundaries, cutting ad loads, introducing dark original dramas and edgy comedies, and experimenting with "binge-viewing."

Away from the corporate arena, Reilly has served on the boards of the American Film Institute and the Television Academy, and was chairman of the board of trustees for The Nature Conservancy of California. His contributions to the industry have been recognized with his induction into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame in 2016 and receiving the Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Award in 2018.
