Kevin Karlson

Dr. Kevin Karlson, JD, PhD, is a true polymath whose career has been defined by the integration of seemingly disparate fields: law, psychology, science and faith. From his early days as a champion debater to his work as an executive consultant for Fortune 500 companies, Dr. Karlson has spent more than five decades mastering the art of communication and leadership. He is CEO of Paradox Consulting International, LLC, and the author of six books.

Dr. Karlson earned his doctorate from University of Texas (UT) Southwestern Medical School and a JD from Southern Methodist University (SMU) Law School. He launched the first jury research and litigation consulting practice specifically for family law and brought his expertise to the Strategy Leadership Center at Texas Instruments, where an introduction to chaos and complexity theory helped spark the development of his revolutionary leadership model.

An award-winning teacher and sought-after speaker, Dr. Karlson has held adjunct appointments at SMU Cox Business School Business Leadership Center, UT Dallas Graduate School of Management, SMU Law School and UT Southwestern. His consulting portfolio includes global companies such as Nokia, Blockbuster and Concentra, as well as numerous megachurches and nonprofit organizations.
