Kevin Harvick Biography
Kevin Harvick is a retired professional stock car racing driver and NASCAR Cup Series champion, widely regarded as one of the most consistent and competitive drivers of his era. Born in Bakersfield, California, Harvick began racing go-karts at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks of motorsports. He made his NASCAR Cup Series debut in 2001 under extraordinary circumstances, replacing the late Dale Earnhardt just days after Earnhardt's fatal crash at the Daytona 500. Harvick made an immediate impact, winning in just his third start. Over the course of his career, Harvick amassed 60 Cup Series wins and clinched the championship in 2014 driving for Stewart-Haas Racing. Known for his aggressive driving style and sharp racing instincts, he was a perennial title contender well into his 40s.
Off the track, Harvick has worked as a TV analyst for FOX Sports and runs Kevin Harvick Incorporated, which supports young athletes in motorsports and other sports. Harvick retired from full-time racing after the 2023 season.
