Kevin Cordes Biography
Kevin Cordes is a competitive swimmer, specializing in breaststroke. He is an Olympic gold medalist and four-time World Champion in the 4 × 100m medley relay.
Cordes swam collegiately for the University of Arizona Wildcats, winning six NCAA titles, including four back-to-back wins in the 100-yard breaststroke and two consecutive wins in the 200-yard breaststroke.
A nine-time world championship medalist with four golds, three silvers and two bronzes, Cordes was a member of the 2016 U.S. Men's Olympic Swimming Team, where he won gold in the 4 × 100m medley relay, and took fourth place in the Men's 100m Breaststroke. He is the former American record holder in the 50-meter and 100-meter breaststroke long course.
