Kerry Goode is a former NFL player and Alabama football standout whose life exemplifies excellence, resilience, and faith. As the 1983 SEC Freshman of the Year, team captain, and Most Valuable Player, Goode’s impact on collegiate sports is etched in the Alabama Walk of Fame. Drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he also played for the Miami Dolphins before transitioning to coaching roles with the New York Giants and St. Louis Rams.
Diagnosed with ALS in 2015, Goode has fought his battle with faith and determination, founding The Goode Foundation to support ALS patients and families through advocacy, education, and research. Inspired by Galatians 6:9, Goode shares heartfelt devotionals and speaks to audiences nationwide, encouraging them to embrace challenges with purpose and perseverance. Recognized with accolades like the Alabama Hall of Fame Distinguished Gentleman Award, Goode’s story continues to inspire as a champion on and off the field.
