Kendall Coyne Schofield

Kendall Coyne Schofield is a professional ice hockey player known for her role as the captain of the Minnesota Frost and the United States national team. She has an illustrious career with many awards and accolades to her name, including seven gold medals at the IIHF World Women's Championships, a gold medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics, the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award as the top player in NCAA women's hockey in 2016, and the Hockey Humanitarian Award in 2016. Additionally, she led the Minnesota Frost to back-to-back Walter Cup championships in 2024 and 2025 and won the Isobel Cup championship with the Minnesota Whitecaps in the National Women's Hockey League in 2019.

Coyne Schofield's contributions to the sport extend beyond her on-field achievements. She served as a color commentator for the San Jose Sharks, player development coach for the Rockford IceHogs, and made her debut as a hockey broadcaster during the Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Tampa Bay Lightning game on January 30, 2019. She also became the first woman to compete in the NHL All-Star Skills Competition in 2019.
