Ken Wharfe

Ken Wharfe is recognized for his extensive experience in royal protection and security, having served at senior levels within Scotland Yard's Royalty Protection Department. Wharfe attained the rank of inspector before joining the department, where he was tasked with overseeing the security of the Queen's grandchildren, Prince William and Prince Harry. He was later appointed personal protection officer to the Princess of Wales, providing security and support during significant periods of her public and private life.

Wharfe managed the Princess's security operations both domestically and internationally, ensuring her safety during public engagements and private moments. His resignation from the role was widely covered by the media, and he was subsequently responsible for overseeing internal security at Princess Diana's funeral at Westminster Abbey, which was attended by more than 50 heads of state.
