Kayli-Joy Cooper is an award-winning social entrepreneur, activist, scholar, aspiring filmmaker, and CEO of GirlWell, Inc. Cooper founded GirlWell, Inc. at sixteen, a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that makes self-care more equitable and accessible. Under her leadership, GirlWell, Inc. has raised over one million dollars in donations and distributed tens of thousands of self-care kits to under-sheltered teenage girls across the United States and India. The organization has partnered with brands such as Esteé Lauder, Dove, Bombas, The Female Quotient, and BetterHelp to provide meaningful self-care experiences.
Cooper was named to the 2023 Forbes 30 Under 30 Atlanta list, the 2022 Ebony Power 100 List, and was selected for the 2022 Disney Dreamer Academy, Prudential Emerging Visionaries, and is an alumna of Black Girls Lead. She has been featured on Good Morning America, CNN Health, Yahoo News, FOX LA, and KTLA. Cooper is a junior at Spelman College, pursuing a degree in Documentary Filmmaking and Film Production, and was named a Dovey Johnson Roundtree Presidential Scholar.
