Katie Hilborn helps leaders and teams do the one thing AI can’t: recognize the pattern that doesn’t fit, in the moment it matters most. An Impact Architect and systems strategist with two decades in the highest-stakes environments on earth, she built her edge where missing a signal carried consequences no dashboard would ever flag, then turned that rare capacity into a method audiences can use the next morning.

Her defining proof came in March 2015, when the Nepal earthquakes flattened entire villages. Hilborn flew in and led 13 missions delivering aid to remote communities. An orphan herself, she had learned to read systems of belonging and abandonment long before she could name them, and in the chaos everyone else took for disorder, she saw what others missed: a child-trafficking network preying on girls displaced by the disaster. Seeing it was one thing. Tracing it to the system producing it, and building the structure that addressed it at the root, became the work of the decade that followed.

Today she applies the same pattern recognition to the largest infrastructure build in history. As founder of Regenerative Infrastructure Holdings, Hilborn is building AI data centers powered by renewable energy and governed by community trusts: a working model for systems designed to compound value rather than extract it.

Her flagship keynote, "Seeing What Others Miss," gives leaders The Architect’s Read: a repeatable method for catching the weak signal early and tracing any problem to the structure beneath it. It’s the human edge that grows more valuable, not less, as AI takes over the routine calls.

A 10-x award-winning humanitarian recognized by bodies that have also honored the Dalai Lama and Jane Goodall, Hilborn is the Founder and Executive Director of Compass Rose International, a nonprofit advancing education and protection for girls, and has stewarded more than $1.2M in philanthropic capital across two decades of field work.
