Katie Diasti Biography
Katie Diasti, founder & CEO of non-toxic and sustainable period brand Viv, grew up in Tampa, Florida with a big Egyptian-American family that instilled a deep sense of community and entrepreneurship into her.
Diasti knew her calling was to combine her passion for female empowerment and sustainability to build a mission-driven brand. Started as a class project during her senior year at Boston College -- from where she graduated with a degree in Marketing and Managing Social Impact -- Viv and its line of eco-friendly products, such as organic cotton tampons and bamboo panty liners, are changing the world of period care. Viv is sold in over 2,000 stores, including CVS, Wegmans and Stop & Shop.
Viv was part of the SSC Venture Partners Accelerator program in the summer of 2019, and a finalist in MassChallenge Boston 2020. Diasti herself has been featured on Forbes' 30 under 30 list.
