Kathleen Hall Jamieson Biography
Kathleen Hall Jamieson, Ph.D., is the Elizabeth Ware Packard Professor of Communication at the Annenberg School for Communication and the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania. She is co-founder of FactCheck.org and the author or co-author of 16 books, including “Presidents Creating the Presidency,” “Echo Chamber: Rush Limbaugh and the Conservative Media Establishment,” and “The Obama Victory,” which won the American Publishers Award for Professional and Scholarly Excellence and the ICA Outstanding Book Award.
Jamieson has earned multiple teaching awards at the three universities where she has taught and has received honors for five of her books. Her work focuses on political communication, media effects and the intersection of information, persuasion and public policy.
