Kate El-Hillow

Kate El-Hillow is the president and chief investment officer of Russell Investments, a global investment solutions provider with more than $330 billion in assets under management. Based in New York, El-Hillow leads the firm’s investment division, overseeing asset management, implementation, and research to deliver comprehensive client solutions. As a member of the executive committee and chair of the operating committee, she plays a key role in shaping the company’s strategic vision and ensuring alignment across all divisions.

With more than 25 years of experience in investment management, El-Hillow specializes in outsourced CIO investment solutions and multi-asset portfolio management. Before joining Russell Investments, she served as deputy chief investment officer of multi-asset solutions at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she guided the firm’s multi-asset investment process. Her earlier tenure at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. included roles as client portfolio manager and chief operating officer within the asset allocation business, demonstrating expertise in portfolio construction, dynamic allocation, and risk management.
