Kasey Kahne

Kasey Kahne is a professional dirt track and stock car racing driver. He competes parttime in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 33 Chevrolet SS for Richard Childress Racing. He also races in the High Limit Racing series, driving the No. 9 sprint car for his own team, Kasey Kahne Racing.

Off the track, Kahne is active in charitable work and serves as a member of the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation. He owns Kasey Kahne Racing, which fields two sprint cars in the World of Outlaws and High Limit Racing series for himself and Brad Sweet. A two-time winner of the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup at Skagit Speedway (2002 and 2003), Kahne holds the track’s fastest lap record.

Kahne earned 18 career wins in the NASCAR Cup Series, including three Coca-Cola 600 victories (2006, 2008 and 2012) and the 2017 Brickyard 400. He was named NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Rookie of the Year in 2004. He retired from full-time competition before the end of the 2018 Cup Series season due to health concerns and was replaced at Leavine Family Racing by Regan Smith.

Kahne announced he would return to the Xfinity Series for one race at Rockingham in 2025, driving the Richard Childress Racing No. 33 car with sponsorship from HendrickCars.com. His car would get damage from contact with William Sawalich and Katherine Legge, but he ended up finishing in 14th place (originally 15th before Jesse Love was disqualified).
