Karlie Kloss

As an American supermodel, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, Karlie Kloss has contributed significantly to the fashion industry and beyond. Kloss was discovered at a young age and swiftly rose to prominence. She has showcased her talents on the runway for many major fashion houses, including Chanel, Dior, and Alexander McQueen, and has graced the covers of international editions of Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle more than 40 times. From 2013 to 2015, Kloss served as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, which augmented her status as a top model. She left Victoria's Secret in 2015 to focus on her studies at New York University because of concerns about the brand's messaging to young women.

Outside of modeling, Kloss is known for her entrepreneurial ventures and passion for empowering young women. In 2015, she launched "Kode with Klossy," a nonprofit initiative that offers free coding camps and scholarships to girls aged 13-18 to increase their engagement in computer science and technology. She added to her portfolio by serving as a correspondent on the Netflix series "Bill Nye Saves the World" in April 2017 and later narrating the second season of the Netflix series "Explained."

Branching further into the entertainment industry, Kloss has made notable appearances in popular culture. She portrayed "Knockout" in the music video for Taylor Swift's song "Bad Blood." In 2019, she became the host of the reality competition television series "Project Runway." Outside of the fashion world, Kloss has taken on the role of an executive, acquiring British fashion magazine i-D in November 2023 and becoming its chief executive officer.
